International Programs

TU Dresden (TUD) 2+1+2 Dual Degree Program

Technische Universität Dresden is a multidisciplinary comprehensive university founded on May 1, 1828.

This program started in 2022. Students participating in this program will be awarded undergraduate dual degrees from Yibin University and Technische Universität Dresden, Germany. The program includes specialized German language training delivered by professional instructors, and tuition fees for specialized courses in Germany are waived. Living expenses are approximately 80,000 RMB per year, and students are permitted to engage in part-time work to support their studies.

University of Hertfordshire Integrated Bachelor's-Master's Program

The University of Hertfordshire is a modern comprehensive university located in the birthplace of the world’s first commercial jet airliner and home to the largest base of BAE Systems. Students enrolled in the program will complete the first, second, or third year of their degree courses at Yibin University before undertaking the remaining studies at the University of Hertfordshire. Upon successful completion of assessments, they will be awarded a degree from the University of Hertfordshire.

"Top Universities to Leading Enterprises" Program

The "Top Universities to Leading Enterprises" Program is a high-level talent development initiative. It aims to enhance students’ international perspective, practical capabilities, and employability by organizing in-depth visits, internships, and exchanges at renowned domestic and international enterprises and universities. Outstanding participants will receive certificates and recommendation letters issued by institutions such as the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Alibaba, further strengthening their competitiveness in further education and employment. The program provides comprehensive support throughout, including accommodation, transportation, insurance, and pre-departure guidance, ensuring safety and reliability.

International Organization Internship Preparatory Camp

The International Organization Internship Preparatory Camp aims to implement the national talent development strategy and cultivate talents for global governance and international organizations. Targeted at university students, the program collaborates with international organizations to deliver curriculum learning and on-site activities—including lectures, visits to international organizations, and mock interviews—to enhance students’ understanding of international organizations and their relevant professional competencies.

World Top University Visiting Program

The university launches the World Top University Visiting Program in partnership with US International Education Association. In collaboration with leading global universities, the program offers short-term and semester-long courses spanning humanities, science, business, computer science, medicine, and other fields. It includes professional studies and language training at prestigious institutions such as the University of Cambridge, University of California, Berkeley, and National University of Singapore, helping students expand their international perspective and improve their academic and cross-cultural communication skills.

Excellent Student Scholarship for World Top University Exchange Programs

Aiming to encourage and support students to participate in exchange programs at world top universities and enhance their comprehensive quality and employability, the university has established the "Excellent Student Scholarship for World Top University Exchange Programs" (hereinafter referred to as the "Scholarship").

The Scholarship consists of three tiers:

First-tier: Awarded to students exchanging at overseas universities (including those in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions) ranked among the top 50 in any of the four major world university rankings. The amount is RMB 3,000 per credit.

Second-tier: Awarded to students exchanging at universities ranked 51–100 in any of the four major world university rankings. The amount is RMB 2,000 per credit.

Third-tier: Awarded to students exchanging at universities ranked 101–300 in any of the four major world university rankings. The amount is RMB 1,000 per credit.

For non-credit exchange programs, the scholarship amounts are: First-tier (RMB 5,000), Second-tier (RMB 3,000), and Third-tier (RMB 1,500). Detailed award rules are specified in the Yibin University Excellent Student Scholarship for World Top University Exchange Programs.
